DESIGNATION
Fitting are designed for illumination of sterile accommodation such as hospital rooms, laboratories and for chemical, pharmaceutic and food industry. The OF4277M is provided for mounting in standard ceiling, recessed. The OF4277C is provided for mounting in ORCAL CLIP-IN ceiling with ORCAL 3000 suspension system.
CONSTRUCTION
The fi tting is equipped with electronic ballast and adapted to T5 fl uorescent tubes. The housing is made of steel sheet painted with white powder. The removable mirror louvres is made of polished aluminium (99,9%). The fi tting has got a cover of hardened glass. The housing and workmanship make setting diffi cult for dust. The fi ting is fi x to ceiling from inside after opening glass. There are versions with battery backup emergency light unit. In case of voltage decay one fl uorescent tube is supplied from a self – contained battery. It gives lighting during 1 hour. Longer duration of emergency lighting – on request.

Note: On account of limited load capacity of module ceiling ORCAL CLIP-IN, we recommend hanging of the fi tting on suspension strands fi xing to ceiling (the fi tting is equipped with 4 lugs to suspend). Suspensions on request.

The OF4277R and OF4254R fi ttings are adapted to T5 fl uorescent tubes (24W, G5 lampholder) or to TC-L compact fl uorescent lamps (36W or 55W, 2G11 lampholder). Light sources are covered with white painted steel sheet openwork lampshade giving shadeless light. Additionally, glare in work stands has been eliminated. When replacing light sources an additional shield can be dismounted without the use of tools and hung parallel to fl uorescent tubes. The OF4277L and OF4254L fi ttings are adapted to compact fl uorescent lamps (TC-L). The removable mirror louvres is made of polished aluminum. On request, fi ttings can be equipped with emergency lighting unit with own battery or adapted to central battery system of emergency lighting and equipped with separate circuits of tubes (e.g. two electronic ballast – system 3+1)

BEDHEAD UNITS
DESIGNATION
The Hospital Bedhead Units are purposed for installation in hospital wards. They ensure: – general illumination of ward with refl ected light (2x36W or 2x54W) – local / reading light (1x18W or 1x24W) – night light (5-7W or LED – OB4156M; 15W – OB4156K) – communication with a nurse – telephone connection – supply for medical appliances (3 power sockets) – medical gas outlets – oxygen, vacuum, compressed air – potential equalization. CONSTRUCTION
It is possible making the unit as one-bed, two-bed or three-bed set. The body of the unit is made up of aluminium profi les, and forms a monolith after putting together. In each segment there are two fl uorescent lamps 36W or 54W covered with a diff user. They serve for general illumination of a hospital ward. The fl uorescent lamps from all the segments are connected in a parallel way. A wall-switch should be foreseen to turn general illumination on. Local illumination is achieved by one fl uorescent lamp 18W or 24W placed in the bottom front part of the segment. The local light may be placed from the left or right side interchangeably to other elements such as medical gas outlets, power sockets and telephone socket. A compact fl uorescent lamp or small incandescent lamp or LED’s serves as a night light. The body of the unit has internal ducts leading power mains and low voltage conductors as well as installation pipes. There is the strip placed in bottom middle part of the set together with electric equipment fi xed on it such as power sockets, phone and equipotential socket in accordance with DIN 42801 as well as the manipulator connector. The electric special equipment can be fi xed on request, e.g. for data transmission. Each segment is equipped with a manipulator. It serves for the local and night lights ON / OFF as well as for calling the nurse. The medical gas outlets are covered with a special box. It is possible to install 3 (OB4156M) or 4 (OB4156K) gas outlets. For mounting there are special catches.

The Hospital Bedhead Unit OB4156 VARIO is purposed for installing in hospital intensive care room. The OB4156 VARIO ensures: • local / reading light (LED) • night light (LED) • supply for medical appliances (2-10 power sockets) • communication with a nurse • telephone and LAN connection • medical gas outlets – oxygen, vacuum, compressed air (1-8 gas outlets) • potential equalization Other equipment (medical rails, shelves, etc.) – on request. The unit should be installed in the room according to the mounting drawing.
CONSTRUCTION
t is possible making the unit as one-bed, two-bed or three-bed set. The body is made in one piece. It ensures good stiff ness and lower mass. Because of transport troubles the three-bed unit (length of 6000mm) is delivered in two parts (4000+2000mm) with appropriate elements for joining. Local illumination is achieved by big power LED unit (5) covered with a diff user. The local light may be placed from the left or right side interchangeably to other elements such as medical gas outlets, power sockets and telephone or LAN socket. A small power LED unit serves as a night light. The body of the unit has internal ducts leading power mains and low voltage conductors as well as installation pipes. It is possible to remove the front plate after loose screws. Near the power sockets there is a connecting points for potential equalization in accordance with DIN 42801. Each segment is equipped with a manipulator. It serves for the local and night lights ON / OFF as well as for calling the nurse. Entry of electric and gas supply from the left or right rear side. Internal installations supplying next segments are made by the producer of the unit. The unit is painted (standard) with white-cream powder coating, RAL 9001. Other colours on request.

The panel is purposed for installing in hospital wards, hotels or boarding-school rooms, laboratories, etc. The panel ensures: – general illumination of ward with refl ected light (OB4364) – local reading or working light – supply for electrical appliances – audio connection (mini-jack socket) – telephone connection / LAN (RJ socket) – night light – communication with servicing personnel – easy control from a manipulator option: – audio connection (jack socket) – potential equalization The panel should be installed over the bed or table.
CONSTRUCTION
Panel OB4251 is adapted to standard fl uorescent tube T8 (local light). Panel OB4364 is adapted to standard fl uorescent tubes T5 (general illumination and local light). Night light (8) with a 1,2W bulb. Lighting sources are covered with prismatic diffuser (2) and (4). Power socket (5), audio socket (3), phone socket (6) are placed on the bottom. The OB4251-01 panel is equipped with a local illumination draw cord switch (4). The OB4251-02 and OB4364-01, -02 panel is equipped with a manipulator (7) for local and night illumination switching and servicing personnel calling. The manipulator is connected to socket (9). The body (1) is painted with white-cream (standard) powder coating (RAL9001). Other colours on request.
